| Motorists are already beginning to embrace the idea of satellite-navigation units in cars.
And in a few years, sat-nav will be doing far more than simply telling drivers how to get to their destination.
This week, the first test satellite in Europe's
3.4bn-euro (£2.3bn; $4bn) Galileo satellite-navigation system blasted
off on a Soyuz rocket from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

| IFitStuff is about making the installation business exciting (and prosperous)
if you can't enjoy what you do then you won't make much money!
Jokes sections, quizzes, chatrooms all help to 'bring together' the engineers
|
| We all fit car kits, we all FitStuff, knowledge is power in this industry.
Not every engineer likes to share what they know, preferring to keep their knowledge to themseles.
Not the case with IFitStuff, the more you share, the more you get out of the website.
|

| If you have something to say, then say it...
The forums give every engineer in the trade a chance to speak their mind.
- Install prices too low?
- Cost of install too high?
- Suppliers that pee you off?
Say it, you muppet!
|
| We
meet each other. Strange I know, but on many of our organised meetings,
parties and events, we get to meet the people behind the
usernames. Some of them don't bite.
The more events you turn up to, the more networking the better
Or, you can stay at home and complain that you're quiet...
|
| At IFitStuff, our servers are packed with knowledge. Some of it good,
some of it questionable. If it's got something to do with installations - or
even if it hasn't - It's all here, so come back every day and learn
something new!
|
- It's about getting involved
| You get out what you put in. Except on a fruit machine.
On IFitStuff
you'll benefit from helping others, meeting up, giving your input, even
turning up to organised events. If you don't benefit, someone else is
bound to. So it has to be worth it, right?
|
| It's the busiest installers website in the UK, let's keep it that way.
It is our ultimate mission to make the industry more profitable,
keeping the install prices as high as we need to, keeping down the
insurance and stock costs.
Thanks for listening, see you in the forums soon .:Andy Wiggett:.
